Identification information

Deposit ID 10096567
MRDS ID W032138
MAS/MILS ID 560070397
Record type Site
Current site name Tennant Property
Alternate or previous names Tennant Creek Area, Tennant Claim

Comments on the site identification

  • "The claim is located on a body of schist 500 ft. wide." This suggests that the Tennant Creek Area is a claim. (However, this does not suggest that the ore body is 152.3 meters wide, so this was corrected to the 6 ft. width of the vein.)
  • In the 1966 and earlier literature Tennant Creek area in Sec. 21 and Tennant Property in Sec. 22 were discussed separately. Beginning with Hausel's 1989 Bulletin, they are discussed together.
