  • IN 1970, DUVAL CORP. DRILLED AN EXPLORATORY HOLE 2,250 FT (686 M) DEEP WEST OF THE ROSSMAN PROSPECT; THE HOLE WAS COLLARED ON THE DOWNTHROWN BLOCK OF THE INDIO FAULT. APPARENTLY, THEY DRILLED 1,880 FT (573 M) OF YUCCA FORMATION, THEN 200 FT (61 M) OF PERMIAN(?) LIMESTONE. NO SIGNIFICANT MINERALIZATION WAS INTERSECTED.
