THE CHERT AND MANGANESE ORE BODIES ARE UNDERLAIN BY GREENSTONES; AND CUT BY SMALL FAULTS. THE ORE IS MASSIVE OPALINE IRON MANGANESE, WHICH IS HARD, BRITTLE, AND VARIOUS COLORS. SOME PSILOMELANE IS FOUND IN RED IRON OXIDE PARTINGS WITHIN THE CHERT.
