  • NUMEROUS UNDERGROUND WORKINGS AND PROSPECT PITS DATING FROM THE NINETEENTH CENTURY. IN 1948 THE GEOLOGIC INSTITUTE OF THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY AT TUCUMAN ESTABLISHED A MINE, MILL, AND LABORATORY, BUT THE MINE WAS NON-PRODUCTIVE. YMAD AND FABRICACIONES MILITARES DRILLED 11 SHALLOW HOLES IN 1982.
