| Relative position | An unnamed antimony prospect is in Cold Creek about one-half mile north of the east-west trail that connects the Steep Creek and Manila Creek areas. It is 1.2 miles southeast of Mount Distin. This location was called the Breen (West) mine by Hummel (locality 2, 1962 [MF 248]). This is locality 26 of Cobb (1972 [MF 463], 1978 [OFR 78-93]) who, following Hummel (locality 2, 1962 [MF 248]), also identified it as Breen (West). The location is uncertain, but probably within about 1,000 feet of the coordinates. |
