Original coordinates were: lat/long NAD27 45-0-3N 112-16-32W (45.00083 -112.27556); UTM N<blank> E<blank> Z<blank>; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 006S, RNG 003W, Sect 31,32,33, Sect_fract <blank>. The location description 6.1 MI S 57 E OF ALDER falls in Madison county. In contrast, the original lat/long is 24mi SW of Alder. The three sections in the PLSS coordinates are centered at 45.268 -111.997, agreeing with the location description. So the center of section 32 was chosen for the new lat/long.
