  • INCLINED SHAFT, 3 DRIFTS (CAVED); TUNNEL WAS DRIVEN IN FROM CHICKEN CREEK IT WAS 3000 FT LONG BUT DIDN'T INTERSECT THE QUARTZ MONZONITE.

  • IN 1890'S BILLY FRAN, WALTER WOODS AND BILL BUCHANAN OWNED AND OPERATED IT. THE ORE BEARING ROCK WAS MILLED IN AN ARASTA LOCATED ON CHICKEN CREEK, AND GOLD WAS COLLECTED BY AMALGAMATION. 1906 MR. HANSMIER ERECTED A 5-STAMP MILL ON CHICKEN CREEK.
