General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE MAIN ADIT IS CAVED AT ITS PORTAL. ORE THAT WAS SHIPPED CAME FROM A SMALL STOPE. ON THE SURFACE ABOUT THE ADIT THE SILICIFIED AND FLUORITIZED BRECCIA APPEARS TO BE AS MUCH AS 250 FT IN DIAMETER. PROSPECT PITS ON THE MINERALIZED SHEAR ZONE REVEAL THAT IT IS AS MUSH AS 10 FT WIDE AND EXTENDS UP THE HILLSIDE FOR ABOUT 500 FT IN A N45E DIRECTION FROM THE PORTAL OF THE ADIT. SEVERAL SAMPLES SELECTED CONTAINED ONLY TRACES TO 0.20 OZ PER TON AG AND TWO SELECT MINERALIZED DUMP SAMPLES CONTAINED 7.50 AND 12.25 OZ PER TON AG (WASH. DGER BULL. 73). AT A DISTANCE OF 47 FT FROM THE PORTAL AN INCLINE WINZE WAS SUNK 97 FT ON THE DIP OF THE VEIN.
Deposit ORE OCCURS IN A HIGHLY SILICIFIED ZONE 2 TO 8 FT WIDE IN PHONOLITE.
