Comments on the production information

  • 10 CARLOADS PRIOR TO 1927 FOR WHICH NO RECORDS AVAILABLE, 1 CARLOAD SHIPPED 1927: 30% PB, 17 OZ. AG, 1.4 DOLLARS PER TON AU; THESE FIGURES PROBABLY INCLUDE OLD SUSAN PRODUCTION

Comments on the workings information

  • NUMEROUS SHALLOW SHAFTS, SHORT ADITS, PITS, TRENCHES AND DRILLING PODS

Comments on development

  • THE SALT LAKE MINING REVIEW DESCRIBED A 2000 FT ADIT BEING WORKED ON THE TINTIC COALITION GROUP. THERE IS NO WORKING THAT LARGE ON THE TINTIC COALITION PATENTED CLAIM GROUP AT PRESENT. IT SEEMS PROBABLE THAT THE OLD SUSAN PATENTED CLAIMS WERE CONSOLIDATED WITH THE TINTIC COALITION CLAIMS BY THIS TIME SINCE THE MAIN ADIT AT THE OLD SUSAN IS THE ONLY WORKING OF THAT SIZE IN THE AREA. ADDITIONALLY, FRANK THRONBERG IS LISTED AS MANAGER OF THE OLD SUSAN IN 1913 AND OF THE TINTIC COALITION IN 1918.
