  • DEPOSIT LOCATED NEAR SOUTHERN END OF ELONGATED, N-S TRENDING ULTRAMAFIC MASS APPROX 5 MI LONG AND 1 MI WIDE, WHICH FORMS FLAGSTAFF HILL. THE DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF TWO SERPENTINIZED DUNITE MASSES SEPARATED BY PYROXENITE. THE DIMENSIONS FOR THE LARGER OF THE TWO, THE UPPER OR EASTERN ORE ZONE, ARE GIVEN ABOVE. THE WEST OR LOWER ZONE LIES ALONG THE CONTACT WITH UNDIVIDED METAMORPHICS AND APPEARS TO BE OFFSET BY NUMEROUS SMALL FAULTS AT NORTH END. THE LOWER ORE ZONE MAY BE 30 FT X 30 FT X 30 FT IN SIZE.
