General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit FISSURE VEIN, 3 TO 15 INCHES WIDE, FROZEN TO THE WALLS IN DIORITE. VEIN MATERIAL MOSTLY QUARTZ WITH DRUSY OPENINGS CARRYING PYRITE, A LARGE PART OF WHICH IS ALTERED TO LIMONITE AND HEMATITE, ALSO TOURMALINE AND AG-PB MINERALS. ALL THE RICH ORE OCCURS IN FIRST HUNDRED FEET BELOW SURFACE. BELOW THE 100-FOOT LEVEL THE VEIN WIDENS TO 20 OR 25 INCHES BUT IS VERY LEAN IN AG-PB MINERALS.
