Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • QMP'S IN THE CAPOTE BASIN AREA ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH CALC-SILICATE MINERALIZATION. QMPS AND BRECCIA PIPES ARE SKARN-DESTRUCTIVE, CAUSING MASSIVE REPLACEMENT OF SKARN BY CHLORITE-CALCITE-QUARTZ WITH ABUNDANT PYRITE-CHALCOPYRITE-SPHALERITE AND SUBORDINATE BORNITE-GALENA-SCHEELITE ASSEMBLAGES. WHERE BRECCIA PIPES CUT UNALTERED LIMESTONE, THEY FORM MASSIVE MANTO-TYPE LENSES OF MAGNETITE-PYRITE WITH SUBORDINATE CHALCOPYRITE-BORNITE-CHALCOCITE-HEMATITE.
