Deposit THE DISTRICT HAS AT LEAST 7 MINE AREAS (ACCORDING TO SOC GEOLO MEX A.C.,1985, MAP) WITHIN A 6 KM RADIUS OF URIQUE. METAMORPHASED ROCKS ARE MAPPED 1 KM E OF URIQUE VILLAGE. ACORDING TO WISSER,1966, BASE METALS SULFIDES ARE FOUND WITH THE PRECIOUS METALS IN VEINS WHICH OCCUR FROM 0-250' ABOVE THE GRANITOID (GRANODIORITE?) "BASEMENT", THE VEINS THAT AVERAGE ONE METER AND AU:AG RATIOS ARE 1:400 SIZE UNCERTAIN BUT SMALLER THAN BATOPILAS DISTRICT.
