Deposit LOWER PROSPECT CONSISTS OF N 5 DEGREES-25 DEGREES E STRIKING 50 DEGREES NW DIPPING QUARTZ VEIN PINCHING AND SWELLING FROM 0-2 FT. WIDE, WITH AVERAGE WIDTH OF 14 IN., AND 400 FT. LONG. VEIN IS IN DIORITE, AND CONTAINS SPARSE PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, AND GOLD. SECOND VEIN, IN UPPER PROSPECT, LIES IN SMALL FAULT STRIKING N 60 DEGREES E, DIPPING 85 DEGREES SE. VEIN IS LENTICULAR WITH MAXIMUM THICKNESS OF 2 FT., AND CONTAINS PYRITE AND GOLD. MAXIMUM LENGTH IS 240 FT. ALTERED DIORITE WALL ROCK CONTAINS SOME GOLD UP TO 4-8 FT. FROM FAULT. A THIRD, ALMOST INACCESSABLE VEIN ON E SIDE OF GULLY AT 1400 FT. ELEVATION IS FROM 5-8 IN. THICK, AND CONTAINS QUARTZ AND FREE GOLD.
