| Deposit | GOLD MAINLY NEAR OR ON BEDROCK BENCH, BUT SOME FINE GOLD THROUGHOUT BENCH GRAVEL, AS MUCH AS 80 FEET THICK. BENCH EXTENDS 4 MILES UPSTREAM AND AT LEAST 2 MILES DOWNSTREAM FROM LITTLE MILLER CREEK; MOST OF MINING DOWNSTREAM FROM LITTLE MILLER CREEK, BECAUSE GRAVEL INCREASES IN THICKNESS UPSTREAM. BENCH ALONG NORTH WALL OF VALLEY APPROXIMATELY 1,200 FEET FROM THE CREEK AND 125 FEET VERTICALLY ABOVE. A LITTLE GOLD WAS RECOVERED FROM DOME CR. IMMEDIATELY BELOW THE MOUTH OF LITTLE MILLER CR.; ALL OTHER PRODUCTION FROM THE BENCH. |
