THE ARCHEAN ROCKS CONTAIN IRREGULAR INTRUSIVE BODIES OF QUARTZ DIORITE. LIMESTONE NEAR QTZ. DIORITE CONTAINS SMALL, DISCONTINUOUS BODIES OF FRIABLE, GARNET-RICH TACTITE. CONTACT OF PRECAMBRIAN GNEISS AND SCHIST WITH LIMESTONE.

  • SURFACE CUT 25 FT. LONG AND 6 - 8 FT. WIDE DRIVEN SW INTO SLOPE 20 FT. HIGHER AND TO THE SOUTH, A 15 FT. NEARLY VERTICAL SHAFT HAS BEEN SUNK. ANOTHER TACTITE BODY HAS BEEN EXPLORED BY 60 FT. TRENCH AND SHALLOW UNDERHAND STOPE, 15 FT. MAX DEPTH. OTHER WORKINGS ARE SMALL STRIPPED AREAS AND SHALLOW CUTS.
