Deposit IT IS BELIEVED THAT MUCH OF THE GOLD FOUND IN THE GRAVELS OF THE CLARK FORK RIVER ORIGINATED WITHIN THE DRAINAGE BASIN OF TROUT CREEK, BUT TESTING MAY PROVE THAT SOME HAS BEEN CARRIED IN FROM VERMILLION CREEK.
