MINE PRODUCTION 1916 - 1952 WAS N EGLIGIBLE. IN 1953 , BARITE PRESENT CAUSED CONSIDERABLE DIFFICULTY IN TREATING THE ORE; AMALGATNATION RECOVERED ABOUT 65 % OF THE AU. THE GRADE RAN 1.0 OZ/TON AU IN 1953.
