Deposit GALENA OCCURS AS INDIVIDUAL GRAINS IN QUARTZ, MOST OF WHICH AVERAGE ABOUT 0.1 MM. ACROSS, BUT SOME SPECIMENS CONTAIN MASSIVE GALENA WHICH IS USUALLY INTERGROWN AND INTERLOCKED WITH SPHALERITE.
