ROYAL FISSURE VEIN OFTEN HAS SEAMS OF CALCITE RUNNING THRU IT. GREENSTONE & SCHIST IS OFTEN MINERALIZED, SIMILAR TO "GRAY ORES" OF AMADOR CO. MINERALIZED ZONE IS 500 OR MORE FT. THICK & NEARLY 4000 FT. LONG. AT LEAST 5 QZ VEINS RANGE FROM A FEW TO 20 FT. THICK.

  • MOST PRODUCTIVE MINE OF THE WEST GOLD BELT, IN 1932 - 1942. PERIOD UP TO 65 TONS ORE PROCESSED IN 24 HR PERIOD. MOST EXTENSIVE PRODUCTION FROM 1895 - 1905 . NO OVERALL PRODUCTION FIGURES FOUND. YUBA MINING DIV. OF YUBA CONS. WAS TO HAVE CONDUCTED DIAMOND DRILLING ON PROPERTY TO TEST FEASIBILITY OF OPEN PIT MINING.
