Comments on the geologic information

  • LENTICULAR QTZ-CALCITE VEINS SEPERATED BY VARIOUS THICKNESSES OF FISSURED AMPHIBOLITE, CHLORITIC AND TALCOSE SCHIST. SOUTH PORTION OF MINE MORE HIGHLY SHEARED THAN NORTH. ORE BODIES ARE COMPLEX NETWORK OF STRINGERS AND MINERALIZED COUNTRY ROCK. STOPING THICKNESSES VARIED FROM 10 - 100 FT. STICKLES MINE TO SOUTH IS SIMILAR BUT MORE SHEARED AND FISSILE. MOST STRINGERS FOLLOW SCHISTOSITY, OTHERS TRAVERSE IT IN ALL DIRECTIONS. WESTERLY LEAD 60 - 90 FT THICK, EASTERLY 20 - 30 FT. BROWN QTZ SOMETIMES WELL-DEFINED STRINGERS, ALSO INTIMATELY ASSOC. W COUNTRY ROCK & ALTERATION. STRINGERS DIP EASTERLY NEARLY VERT.
