  • PRODUCED SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF GOLD FROM NEAR-SURFACE POCKETS IN 1880'S AND 1890'S; OPERATED IN 1908 AND IN LATE 1930'S AND IN 1940. ORE SHOOT MINED 1937-1940 CONTAINED 225 TONS OF ORE WHICH RAN SLIGHTLY MORE THAN 3.5 OZ. OF GOLD AND 0.75 OZ. SILVER PER TON.
