Deposit VEIN-TWO NEARLY FLAT, LAMINATED QUARTZ VEINS ONE ABOVE THE OTHER. A FEW INCHES TO MORE THAN 4 FEET THICK.
Deposit ORIGINALLY CONSISTED OF 2 CLAIMS, THE JUMPER AND COLD SPRINGS, OR BEAR. IN SEPTEMBER, 1954, WORKINGS WERE MOSTLY WATERED AND PARTLY FILLED WITH DEBRIS. THERE WAS A SMALL GIBSON MILL AND A STEAM ENGINE ON THE PROPERTY. MINE IS REFERRED TO IN REPORT OF STATE MINERALOGIST XXIV, P. 91-2, AND PAGE 133. P. 91 INDICATES LOCATION AS SEC. 30, 4S, 16E, AND P. 133 GIVES LOCATION AS SEC. 25, 4S, 16E. HOWEVER, THE DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCATION SHOWN IN THE 1957 REFERENCE WOULD INDICATE THAT IT IS IN SEC. 30, 4S, 17E. COPPER PRODUCTION 0-100,000 LBS. - D.O.M. BULL. 144, PT. 3, 1948, P. 268 GOLD NOT VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE.
