  • PRODUCTION YEARS WERE INTERMITTANT BETWEEN 1914 AND 1942. A TYPICAL 16-CAR SHIPMENT FROM THE GOLD BAR WORKINGS SAID TO HAVE AVG. 0.72 OZ, AU, 3.50 OZ AG, 0.50% CU AND 0.80% PB. TOTAL OUTPUT VALUED AT SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS. NO OTHER PRODUCTION RECORDS FOUND. SEE TUCKER & SAMPSON (1931) FOR OTHER COMMODITY GRADES AT VARIOUS DEVELOPMENT LEVELS

Deposit SERIES OF PARALLEL VEINS AVG. 9 FT. THICK. THE MORE NORTHERLY SYSTEM, THE GOLD BAR-GOLD BRONZE, IS AT LEAST 2400 FT. LONG. ITS TRACE IS FROM E TO WNW., DIP 60-70 DEG. N. IT INCLUDES GOLD BAR VEINS ON VANDERBILT PROPERTY AND GOLD BRONZE VEINS TO THE EAST. GOLD BAR VEINS, TWO IN NUMBER, AVG. 8 FT. THICK, AND LIE ON EACH SIDE OF A RHYOLITE DIKE, ABOUT 20 FT. THICK. BOOMERANG SYSTEM APPROX. 1500 FT SW. IT IS 1500 FT. IN LENGTH, TRENDS N70W, AND DIPS 60-70 DEG. NE. THERE ARE 2 VEINS ABOUT 100 FT. APART AND AVG. 8 FT. THICK.
