  • THE VEIN IS ABOUT 2 FEET WIDE AND IS OPENED BY AN ADIT TUNNEL, CROSS CUTS AND SHAFT TO A DEPTH OF ABOUT 200 FEET. GOOD ORE WAS MINED FROM THE UPPER 50 FEET. MUCH OF THE ORE CONSISTS OF CRUSHED RHYOLITE CEMENTED IN QUARTZ.
