General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit VEINS ARE FAULTED OFF 160 FT WEST OF THE SHAFT. MINES ARE CONFINED TO A NARROW N-TRENDING ZONE OF HIGHLY ALTERED M-IOCENE TUFFS AND INTRUSIVE RHYODACITE. ON THE WEST THERE IS A -MAJOR ARCUATE TRANSCURRENT FAULT AND SHEAR ZONE. SIMILAR SUBPA-RALLEL FEATURES BOUND THE EAST SIDE OF THE NARROW ZONE. THE CE-NTRAL BLOCK IS A STRUCTURALLY INTERMEDIATE PLATE THAT HAS BEEN- THRUST OVER OLIGOCENE VOLCANICS. IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT T-HE DEEPER WORKINGS MAY PENETRATE THE PLATE, AS IS SUGGESTED BY- THE PRESENCE OF PALEOZOIC RUBBLE ON THE ARROWHEAD DUMPS.
