Deposit THIS RECORD HAS BEEN MERGED WITH M055269, WHICH HAS BEEN DELETED. LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE OF DELETED RECORD ARE 40-19-60N AND 118-05-18W, BUT DOES NOT MATCH OTHER VERIFIABLE SOURCES.
Deposit MINERALIZED ZONE TRACED ON SURFACE FOR 950 FT; UNDERLYING LIMESTONE WARRANTS FURTHER EXPLORATION (1943). DEEPER ORE CONSISTED OF CINNABAR IN CALCITE VEINLETS IN THE LIMESTONE. LOCALLY, SOME OF THE LIMESTONES ARE SILICIFIED AND CONTAIN NODULES OF OPAL.
