Deposit CINNABAR OCCURS AS BOTRYOIDAL MASSES ALONG CONTACT BETWEEN SANDSTONE AND LIMESTONE, AND VEINLETS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH SHEAR ZONES. CRYSTALLINE CINNABAR OCCURS AS VEINLETS AND GRAINS IN SACCHROIDAL VEIN QUARTZ, AND AS BOTRYOIDAL COATINGS IN VUGS IN THE SILICIFIED VOLCANICS. THE ROCKS ARE ALSO COATED WITH CHALCEDONIC SILICA AND CONTAIN MINOR JAROSITE(?). NO OUTCROPS WERE OBSERVED ON CLAIM BLOCK WHICH IS COVERED WITH ALLUVIUM-SHAFT IS COLLARED IN ALLUVIUM. LATE STAGE COCKSCOMB QUARTZ COATS SILICEOUS ROCKS, WHICH ALSO CARRY VERY FINE BARITE CRYSTALS INTERGROWN WITH QUARTZ CRYSTALS AND VERY FINE PYRITE. SANDSTONE WAS OBSERVED ON THE DUMP, HOWEVER, NO SEDIMENTARY ROCKS OUTCROP IN THE VICINITY, ONLY VOLCANICS. DARK GREY ZONES IN SILICEOUS ROCKS SUGGEST DISSEMINATED SULFIDE MINERALIZATION.
