  • THE VEIN IS IN THE MEDIUM- TO COARSE-GRAINED GRANODIORITE AND QUARTZ MONZONITE OF THE CONCONULLY PLUTON. THE PLUTON IS HYDROTHERMALLY ALTERED ON ITS EASTERN EDGE NEAR THE TOWN OF CONCONULLLY (STOFFEL, 1990, P. 24).

  • BY 1890, ORE THAT CONTAINED AS MUCH AS 200 OZ/TON AG AND 30% PB WAS MINED FROM SEVERAL LEVELS. BY 1897, ABOUT $40,000 HAD BEEN SPENT DEVELOPING THE MINE, BUT PRODUCTION AMOUNTED TO ONLY SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS. TRIAL SHIPMENTS OF ORE WERE MADE TO SMELTERS IN 1913, 1943, AND 1969 (MOEN, 1973, P. 25).
