Deposit THREE QUARTZ VEINS WER DEVEOLPED. THE FIRST, NEAREST THE ROAD, WAS OF GREAT THICKNESS, BUT INFERIOR QUALITY. A SECOND PARALLEL ONE, WHICH WAS WORKED BY THE 12.8 M SHAFT AND OPEN PITS, YIELDED VERY FAIR ORE. AND THE THIRD PARALLEL VEIN CARRIED QUARTZ FULL OF IRON OXIDE AND CONTAINED VISIBLE GOLD. IN ADDITION, THE RIDGE TOP AND SLOPES WERE COVERED WITH QUARTZ BOULDERS SHOWIVG FREE GOLD. AND ALONG THE CREEK GOLD PLACERS EXISTED WHICH WERE EXTENSIVELY AND SUCCESSFULTY WORKED.
