  • IN 1982, A WATERFILLED OPENCUT, SEVERAL SMALL TRENCHES AND PITS, AND DUMPS WERE EVIDENT. NO ORE WAS SEEN ON THE DUMPS.

  • BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN WORKED IN THE LATE 1800'S. LOCAL RESIDENTS STATE THAT THE MINE FLOODED ONE NIGHT WHILE THE WORKERS WERE OUT TO DINNER, AND WAS NEVER REOPENED.
