  • THE MINE WAS DEVELOPED BY FIVE SEPARATE GROUPS OR LEVELS OF WORKINGS. THE VERDE ANTIQUE QUARRIES TO THE NORTH WERE PROSPECTED HEAVILY BUT THE STONE WAS UNSOUND. THE MOST SOUTHERN QUARRY NOW USED FOR RIP-RAP

Deposit THE ONLY SIGNIFICANT TALC DEPOSITS ARE AT THE NORTH AND SOUTH ENDS OF THE ULTRAMAFIC BODY. TOTAL TALC REMOVED WAS 60,000 TONS.
