Comments on development

  • A BRGM FEASIBILITY STUDY INDICATED THAT SAMRAH COULD BE DEVELOPED AS A SMALL MINE (C. 200 TPD PRODUCTION) AT THE THEN (1976) EXISTING SILVER PRICE OF US $4.852/OZ, IF FURTHER RESERVES COULD BE ESTABLISHED. THE DEPOSIT IS CURRENTLY (1984) OPEN AT DEPTH AND FURTHER DRILLING, GEOPHYSICS AND, IF WARRANTED, LIMITED UNDERGROUND EXPLORATION, WERE RECOMMENDED TO TEST POTENTIAL EXTENSIONS TO THE KNOWN OREBODY. FURTHER WORK WAS PLANNED BY RIOFINEX LIMITED (JIDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA).
