  • MAJOR POST-ORE GEOLOGIC EVENT: FAULTING. PRINCIPAL MINERAL ASSEMBLAGES: QRTZ + FRBR + SCLT; KOLN + SLPD. SCHEELITE NOT RECOVERABLE. VEINS ARE SEVERAL KILOMETERS LONG AND AVERAGE 7 M IN WIDTH. VEINS IN DISTRICT ARE ZONED LATERALLY FROM PERIPHERAL PB-AG-ZN, THROUGH CU-ZN-W-SN, TO W-RIGH CORES (KONTAK AND CLARK, 1985).

TYPE OF DEVELOPMENT: IN 1985, TREATMENT PLANT WAS BEING EXPANDED TO 350 TPD. AND EVENTUALLY TO 750 TPD. ASSESSMENT: AIM IS TO INCREASE RECOVERY TO 70%.
