Result THE ORE CONTAINS ABOUT 25.0 % S AND 35.0 % FE. THE SULFIDE TO GANGUE RATIO IS HIGHER THAN THE OTHER DEPOSITS IN THE DISTRICT. PYRITE IS LOCALLY MORE ABUNDANT THAN PYRRHOTITE. MAGNETITE IS ALSO LOCALLY ABUNDANT IN FINE GRAINED MASSES 2 FEET ACROSS. CU AND ZN CONTENTS ARE RELATIVELY LOWER.

  • EXPLORATORY DRILLING REVEALED AN AMPHIBOLITE SILL OVER 300 FEET WIDE AND LESS THAN 600 FEET BENEATH THE ORE BODY. THE WALL ROCKS CONTAIN A LITTLE DISSEMINATED SULFIDES.

Deposit THE GOSSAN COVERED AN AREA OF UP TO 250 BY 1500 FEET. THE ORE BODY IS GENERALLY CONFORMABLE WITH THE WALL ROCKS. DIOPSIDE AND HEDENBERGITE CRYSTALS HAVE BEEN FRACTURED, BROKEN, AND RECEMENTED WITH SULFIDES. THE ISABELLA MINE WAS ALSO DEVELOPED INTO THE EUREKA ORE BODY.
