| Deposit | NARROW VEINLETS ALONG JOINT PLANES AND TO A LESSER EXTENT ALONG BEDDING PLANES. IN THE NW PORTION OF THE MINING AREA, A NW-TRENDING WEST-DIPPING FAULT ZONE IN GOLD HILL CONTROLS ORE DEPOSITION. ORE IS ALONG FAULT ZONE IN BRECCIA AND HAS DEVELOPED IN WALLSPLITS. FAULT DIPS 60 W AT SURFACE, BUT FLATTENS AT DEPTH. ORE OCCURS MAINLY IN DRUSY QUARTZ VEINLETS WITH SOME LAMELLAR QUARTZ AFTER CALCITE. OREIS OXIDIZED WIT SOME ADULARIA AND MINOR FLOURITE. GOLD IS FINE-GRAINED, BUT PREDOMINANTLY VISIBLE PARTICLES. THE PREFERENTIAL HOST ROCK IS A SANDY PHYLLITE. ORE ZONE IS OPEN AT BOTH ENDS. IN THE SE PORTION OF THE MINE AREA, ORE OCCURS ALONG A N-TREND FAULT ZONE AND CONSISTS OF SILICIFIED BRECCIA, DRUSY QUARTZ VEINLETS.
