Deposit A 6 KM LONG ANTICLINE CONTAINS A SALT DOME. THE POTASH MINES ARE ON THE N FLANK OF THE ANTICLINE WHERE BEDS DIP 25-30 DEG NORTH; TO THE SOUTH THE BEDS DIP IS 65 TO 75 DEGREES. THE ORE-BEARING SECTION (FROM BOTTOM): MARL, THICK BEDS OF HALITE, HALITE WITH MARL, SYLVANITE BEDS 5-20 M THICK, CARNALLITE, ROCK SALT WITH MARL, MARL WITH SANDSTONE.
