Deposit PLACER GOLD HAS EXHIBITED EXTREME PURITY. SOME 0.982 FINE GOLD HAS BEEN RECOVERED AND IT IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR THE GOLD TO BE 0.960 TO 0.970 FINE. PLACERS WITHIN CEDAR CREEK DISTRICT ARE INTIMATELY ASSOCIATED WITH NEARBY LODE DEPOSITS.
Deposit MOST IMPORTANT TRIBUTARY OF CEDAR CREEK IS OREGON GULCH ALONG WHICH MANY PLACER CLAIMS ARE INTERMITTENTLY ACTIVE. A SMALLER TRIBUTARY, SNOWSHOE GULCH, HAS ALSO BEEN INTERMITTENTLY ACTIVE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
