WEAKLY DEVELOPED FLOW STRUCTURE IN GRANITE ROUGHLY PARALLELS CONTACT. PEGMATITES BELIEVED TO BE PENECON-TEMPORANEOUS WITH GRANITE EMPLACEMENT AS H2O-RICH LIQUID SEGREGATIONS BECAUSE PEGMATITES ALL CONTAINED WITHIN PLUTON AND DO NOT EXTEND BEYOND BOUNDARY AND BECAUSE NO APPARENT EFFECT (CRYSTAL ORIENTATION, RADIAL FRACTURES, DISTORTION) ON ADJACENT GRANITE.
