  • MAIN VEIN DEVELOPED BY SEVERAL OPEN PITS, A SHORT TUNNEL, AND AN 80 FT VERTICAL SHAFT WITH ONE COMPARTMENT AND A MANWAY SHAFT. THE 2 VEIN WAS PROSPECTED BY TRENCHING AND A SHAFT ON THE VEIN FOR 60 FT.

Deposit 2 MAIN VEINS, INTERSECT TO FORM A TRUE Y. VEINS ARE QUARTZ 3 TO 4 FT WIDE. TRACED 500 FT ON SURFACE BY PITS, CUTS, AND SHAFTS. MINOR AMOUNTS OF CUPRO-DESCLOIZITE ON OUTCROP. ALLEN, 1985, P. 116, SAYS THAT MINERALIZATION OCCURS AS A 32 M LONG VEIN THAT RANGES FROM 1 TO 2.5 M WIDE , AND VARIES FROM A N55W STRIKE AND 80NE DIP AT ITS SOUTHEAST END TO A N70W STRIKE AND 65NE DIP AT ITS NORTHWEST END. THE VEIN IS CORED BY 10 TO 40 CM OF BLACK CALCITE AND CONTAINS OUTER VEIN SELVAGES OF BANDED QUARTZ THAT IS 0.5 M THICK.
