ORE ZONE IS PARALLEL TO BEDDING IN THIN BEDDED SCHIST, STRIKING N. 20 E., DIPPING 50 E. ORE IS STEEL GRAY WITH DULL METALLIC LUSTER, LARGELY PSILOMELANE WITH THIN PARTINGS OF SOFT BLACK OR REDDISH MATERIAL.

  • SMALL PRODUCTION. IDLE. THE ORE OF THIS DEPOSIT CONTAINS 50 PERCENT MANGANESE AND LESS THAN 5% SILICA. THREE TONS TAKEN OUT REPRESENTED THE ENTIRE VOLUME OF THE ORE LENS.
