  • GEOL.DESC: ORE ZONE ENCLOSED IN THIN BEDDED RED RADIOLARIAN CHERT, STRIKES N 20 TO 50 E, AND DIPS 30 TO 35 S. W. ORE ZONE IS JUST ABOVE BASAL CONTACT OF RED CHERT WITH SANDSTONE. MOST ORE IS SILICEOUS WITH BANDS RUNNING PARALLEL TO BEDDING. BANDS OF CHERT ALTERNATE WITH CARBONATE ORE. ORE BECOMES OXIDIZED NEAR SURFACE.
