  • GEOL.DESC: PUMICE OCCURS IN LAYER WHICH DIPS E ABOUT 10 DEG.; BEDS RANGE FROM 1-6' THICK AND ARE SEPARATED BY THIN BEDS OF PUMICITE UP TO 1' THICK. PUMICE FRAGMENTS ARE ANGULAR, WHITE, AND RANGE IN SIZE FROM DUST TO AS MUCH AS 2" IN DIAMETER.
