Deposit SERIES OF VOLCANIC FLOWS OVERLYING GRANITE, STRIKING NE AND DIPPING 10-15SE ON GRUTA Y CERRO ARREQUITA, NW SIDE OF HILL IS SCARP 100 M HIGH WITH TALUS AT THE BASE. PHOSPHATIC MATERIAL OCCURS ON LOWER PART OF CLIFF AND IN TALUS; LOWER BEDS SPONGELIKE CRUMBLY MASS FROM FEW INCHES TO SEVERAL FEET FROM SURFACE. PHOSPHATIC MATERIAL IS CONFINED TO NEAR SURFACE ROCKS. PHOSPHATES DERIVED BY REACTION OF GUANO WITH ROCKS.
