  • GEOL.DESC: ORE OCCURS IN LENSES OF QUARTZITE ENCLOSED IN THE PELONA SCHIST, AND IS CUT BY QUARTZ VEINS AND CROSS FAULTS. AVERAGE STRIKE IS N 80 W AND DIP IS 40 N. ORE IS PARTIALLY TO COMPLETELY OXIDIZED RHODONITE, IN POCKETS AND SCATTERED AMONG QUARTZ GRAINS OF QUARTZITE. SOME HAS BEEN COMPLETELY OXIDIZED TO PSILOMELANE.
