  • GEOL.DESC: ORE BODY IS THICK STUMPY LENS ENCLOSED IN THICK-BEDDED WHITE TO BUFF CHERT. MAIN LENS IS 30 FT. LONG, WITH 6 FT. MAXIMUM THICKNESS, STRIKING N 15 W, AND DIPPING 60 S.W. CHERT IS IN FAULT. CONTACT WITH FRANCISCAN SANDSTONE. VERY LITTLE MANGANESE OXIDE IS PRESENT IN MAIN ORE BODY, MAINLY ALONG SEAMS AND CRACKS. ORE IS MAINLY BROWN BEMENTITE, SOME RHODOCHROSITE.
