Deposit LARGER SOUTHERN SHAFT SUNK WAS SUNK ON INTERCEPT OF THE N-S SHEAR (VISIBLE ALONG EAST SIDE OF THE CANYON, AND THE LARGE N 70 W VEIN AT LEAST 20 FT THICK. ALL WORKINGS ARE IN ANDESITE. SHAFT IS ON EASTERN EDGE OF THE CANYON AND DUMP MATERIAL DOES NOT CONTAIN SIGNIFICANT VISIBLE MINERALIZATION. SAMPLE 3974 INCLUDES BOTH DUMP MATERIAL AND SHEAR ZONE MATERIAL WHICH INCLUDES BRECCIA, VUGGY OPEN-SPACE QUARTZ WITH SOME PYRITE. SECOND SMALLER SHAFT TO NORTH WAS SUNK ON A NE-TRENDING QUARTZ VEIN NEAR A N-S SHEAR. ONE VEIN TRENDS N 05 E, 70 E, INTERCEPTING A N 65 W VERTICAL VEIN 6-10 FT WIDE. VEIN MATERIAL CONSISTS OF SULFIDES WITH PYRITE IN MATRIX OF AN ANDESITE BRECCIA.
