| Deposit | THIS MINE PRODUCED AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF GOLD NLY A FEW MONTHS SOMETIME DURING THE 1870 DECADE. MINING WAS D AS SOON AS COPPER BEARING ORE WAS ENCOUNTERED. A 10 STAMP S ERECTED AT THIS SITE TO PROCESS THE GOLD PRODUCED (BREWER- REC 040 COLS 14-16 / DISTANCES TO ROAD/WATER SUPPLY/ELECTRIC R SUPPLY ARE ALL ESTIMATED TO BE LESS THAN ONE KILOMETER. EXACT LOCATION OF MINE WAS NOT FOUND. REC 040 COL 71-80 / SECTION 35 LIES ALSO INTO THE NEWELL QUA TO THE SOUTH. THE MINE IS NOT LOCATED IN ANY OF THE REFERENCES MORE PRECISELY THAN SECTION 35. REC 060 COL 48-50 / 2.7 IS AN AVERAGE DENSITY FOR A SCHIST. INFORMATION COULD BE FOUND CONCERNING THE DENSITY OF THIS PARTICU OSITS ROCK. PRECEDING COMMENTS ENTERED MARCH 1977 BY EFOC. |
