Deposit MINING HALTED APRIL 12, 1917 DUE TO CAVE-IN AND FLOODING. MINE WAS ONE OF FOUR IN A COMPLEX. OTHER MINES WERE:MEXICAN, TREADWELL, AND READY BULLION. MILL: 1899 700-Foot had 100 stamps but added 20 more in 1911. 1903-6 mill closed. Ore mined and milled at Mexican Mill. 1912-7 30 additional stamps were added given the total of 150 stamps. 1917 the workings were flooded with sea water - closing the mine.
