Environmental Factors TAILINGS WERE WITHIN AN ENCLOSED BASIN WITH NO APPARENT OUTLET OR IMPOUNDMENT STRUCTURE, AND THE TAILINGS WERE MOSTLY (75%) REVEGETATED. ONE OBSERVED RELEASE OF LEAD WAS DOCUMENTED IN A DOWNGRADIENT WELL. NO EXCEEDANCES OF DRINKING WATER STANDARDS WERE DOCUMENTED DURING THIS INVESTIGATION. NO ADIT DISCHARGES, SEEPS, OR SPRINGS WERE OBSERVED. NO MINE OPENINGS OR HIGHWALLS WERE PRESENT.
